Options, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization founded by a group of McIntosh County residents whose efforts were led by the late Dorothy Vandiver. The organization was incorporated in March 1978.
Our hard-working and dedicated team works with a Board of Directors to ensure the best vocational training, community integrated employment, group home, and in-home support services possible so that we can facilitate positive and desired outcomes for the people we serve.
Our main vocational training center and offices are located in the business district of Checotah along with our recycling sorting and processing facility. Learn more about our recycling services.
Our group home is situated in a residential district of Checotah and serves 6 individuals. 24hr staff is available to provide teaching in areas such as health, safety, meal preparation, nutrition, shopping, money management, personal care, and civic responsibility.
We also operate a satellite office in Morris that offers vocational training, community integrated employment (job placement) and in-home supports for Okmulgee County residents with developmental and intellectual disabilities.
